The international SEEFF conference "DIGITALIZATION, MULTIMODALITY, SUSTAINABILITY", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of NSBS, provides an opportunity to discuss the current and crucial issues and trends in the field of transport, forwarding and logistics in the countries of South-Eastern Europe.
Speakers at the conference are Bulgarian and international experts, as well as representatives of FIATA. The event will be held in three panels:
- Digitalization of logistics: opportunities and challenges
- Multimodality and supply chains disruptions: Role of the Freight forwarders
- Sustainable logistics: “Green deal” consequences and challenges

FIATA WG Road and WG Rail meeting
Meeting of the Working Group Rail and Road delegates of FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations).
Meeting will begin with a demo presentation on issuing and verifying the Paperless FIATA Bill of Lading (eFBL) by software provider Xinerji Software, followed by two sessions:
- Opportunities of using the Paperless transport document for road and rail transport
The focus of the session will be on the use of the FIATA Bill of Lading (FBL) and its Paperless (eFBL) version, as well as other transport documents for road and rail transport, with a special regional focus to foster greater ease of business in regional and international trade.
Moderators: Ole Andrea Hagen, FIATA Working Group Rail Chair and Tomas Suhanyi, FIATA Working Group Road Chair.
- Recent developments in the rail and road industry and the regional overview
The focus of the session will be on recent developments in the rail industry, such as the development of new rail corridors, the impacts of recent events (war, economy, pandemic) on the road and rail industry, and how to address the challenges brought by these events under the lens of multimodality.
