The program, developed by the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), is a global standard for professional qualifications in the industry and is a symbol of high expertise and preparedness for the modern requirements of the industry.
Official greetings to the graduates were delivered by Mr. Tsvetin Todorov, Chairman of the Management Board of the NSBS, Dr. Boril Ivanov, member of the Management Board of the NSBS, and Assoc. Prof. Momchil Antov, Director of the NSBS. Mr. Todorov congratulated the participants on their perseverance and motivation, which had brought them to this important professional milestone:
"In times of global transformation and growing challenges for supply chains, investment in knowledge and skills is crucial. By obtaining the FIATA Diploma, you are proving that you are prepared for the future – not only as professionals, but also as leaders in the sector."
During the informal part of the event, participants discussed key topics related to the present and future of the transport and logistics sector in Bulgaria and around the world. The focus was on:
- the shortage of skilled personnel and the need for systematic investment in training and retraining;
- the digitization of processes and the opportunities offered by technology to increase efficiency;
- the green transition and the role of the sector in sustainable transport;
- geopolitical and economic factors affecting global supply chains.
