This year's meeting of FIATA members from the European region is hosted by the Czech Association for Freight Forwarding and Logistics, and the event will take place on September 3-4, 2025, in Prague.
The opening featured an introduction by Mr Martin Kupka, Vice-Premier and Transport Minister of the Czech Republic, representing the local transport industry and remarks from Mr Turgut Erkeskin, FIATA President, Mr Vít Votroubek, President of the Association of Forwarding and Logistics of the Czech Republic (SSL) and Ms Antonella Straulino, Chair of FIATA Region Europe. Moderated was Mr Petr Rozek, Executive Director of SSL and FIATA Working Group Road Chair.
FIATA has always placed great emphasis on regional meetings to strengthen engagement at the national, regional, and international levels. These meetings offer members the opportunity to discuss regional challenges in the context of a broader dialogue on global trends and developments in logistics. At the same time, they ensure that local knowledge shapes the international dialogue and that global frameworks respond to the diverse needs of the sector.
At the FIATA REU Meeting 2025, the NSBS is represented by the director of the association, Assoc. Prof. Momchil Antov, PhD.
