At a solemn ceremony, the bachelor's and master's diplomas of the class of 2025 of the Department of Transport and Energy Economics, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, were awarded.
The graduates were congratulated by the rector, Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov; the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Hristina Nikolova; and the ceremony's special guest, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Momchil Antov, director of the Bulgarian National Freight Forwarding Association .
'Today, you have officially completed a stage of your education. Your teachers are here to support you as you move forward. I hope you enjoy your profession because there is no greater happiness than working with passion. I hope that each of you will find professional fulfilment that meets your expectations,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Momchil Antov. He drew attention to the fact that nowadays, transport is not just about traditional means of transportation: ‘A modern specialist in this field must be prepared to work with information, managing information about the cargo rather than the cargo itself.’
To mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Transport and Energy Economics, Assoc. Prof. Antov was presented with a plaque in recognition of the contribution and assistance provided by the NSBS and himself to the Department.
