On 18th - 20th of May, 2026 USER, Romania will host the European congress SEEFF x FIATA REU Field Meeting 2026 in Bucharest, at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, bringing together the regional and international logistics community for a landmark event.
2026 will be a year full of symbolism for the transport, shipping, and logistics industry - marking 30 years since the first Balkan Congress of Freight Forwarders, SEEFF (1996), 25 years since its last edition held in Romania (2001), and 100 years since the founding of FIATA (1926).
In addition to working sessions, we are preparing memorable social and networking programs designed to provide participants with authentic experiences and real opportunities to connect.
At the same time, the congress will serve as a platform to promote Romania as a strategic destination for transport, logistics, and international business, highlighting the country’s potential and appeal in the South-Eastern Europe region.

For the first time, the South – East European Freight Forwarders (SEEFF) Congress is joining forces with FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations), connecting the region with the global logistics network and bringing an unprecedented international perspective.
SEEFF traces its origins back to 1996, with the establishment of the Coordination Committee Southeast European Associations of Freight Forwarders and Logistics Operators, with the mission to strengthen regional cooperation and support European Union accession. Today, the congress is the main biennial forum for the industry in the region.
The FIATA REU Field Meeting is an annual regional conference of the federation, which will hold its second edition in 2026.

The SEEFF x FIATA REU Field Meeting 2026 promises to be a historic moment — three days bringing together the regional and global logistics community in a unique forum with long-term impact.
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy special moments of relaxation, including a gala dinner at the Marriott Hotel and a traditional Romanian dinner at Mogoșoaia Palace, an iconic Romanian landmark.
The third day will be dedicated to exploring some of Bucharest’s historical and cultural landmarks: visits to the Palace of the Parliament and the Cathedral of Salvation of the Nation, offering a complete and authentic experience of Romania’s capital.
