On May 29–30, 2026, in Burgas, the Bulgarian National Freight Forwarding Association held its traditional Managerial Conference under the motto "NSBS - a look from the inside", which brought together over 60 managers and experts from leading forwarding, logistics and transport companies in the country.
The forum discussed current trends and challenges facing the forwarding sector in Bulgaria and Europe, the prospects for water and multimodal transport, the development of trade relations with Asia, as well as the upcoming customs reform of the European Union. The participants had the opportunity to exchange experience and good practices, as well as discuss future priorities for the development of the industry.
Special attention was paid to the topics of multicultural communication in international business and increasing the sustainability of logistics chains in the dynamic economic environment. The conference also provided an opportunity for active dialogue between NSBS members and the organization's partners.
The event ended with an organized visit to BMF Port Burgas, which gave the participants the opportunity to get acquainted with the development and capacity of one of the key logistics units of the country.
